  ENGL 2332 World Literature I (3 hrs.) or ENGL 2333 World Literature II (3 hrs.)

ENGL 2322 Survey of Brit. Literature I: Beginnings through the 18th Century (3 hrs.) or

*ENGL 2334 Themes and Genres in English Literature or
  ENGL 2323 Survey of British Literature II:
or 19th and 20th Centuries (3 hrs.)

General Electives (23 hrs.)   Courses in any area.   Any non-remedial, non-vocational courses. If necessary, students are advised to use these electives to satisfy foreign language and computer literacy requirements. Students are advised to transfer a total of no more than 70 lower-division hours from Del Mar.
       
       
       
       
       
Students seeking the BA degree but not seeking certification must take either HIST 2311-Western Civilization I or HIST 2312-Western Civilization II.

*The courses taken to meet this requirement must differ from the courses taken to satisfy the core curriculum requirement.
