Students seeking teacher certification for History 8-12 must take the following English courses:

  ENGL 2332 Literature of the Western World:   
From the Classics to the Renaissance (3 hrs.)
or
ENGL 2332 World Literature I (3 hrs.)
or
  ENGL 2333 Literature of the Western World:
From the Enlightenment to the Present (3 hrs.)
ENGL 2333 World Literature II (3 hrs.)
   
 

and one of the following:
ENGL 3360 Current Approaches to Composition
and Literature (3 hrs.) or
ENGL 3361 Strategies and Genres of Advanced Writing, (3 hrs.) or
ENGL 3366 Language in Society (3 hrs.) or
ENGL 3379 Writing in Computer-Networked Environments (3 hrs.)

 

Students are advised to transfer a total of no more than 70 lower-division hours from Del Mar College.
